What you'll do
TruckGo keeps semis, fleets and heavy equipment moving from our shop in London, KY. You'll diagnose and repair diesel trucks in the bay and on the road, run PM and DOT inspections, and keep clean, billable work orders.
Diagnose & repair
Engine, transmission, emissions/aftertreatment, electrical, air brake and hydraulic systems on diesel trucks and equipment. Verify every repair before it leaves.
Preventive maintenance & DOT
Run scheduled PM services and DOT inspections; catch emerging equipment issues early.
Mobile road service
Respond to road calls, perform field repairs and diagnostics, and keep the service truck stocked and organized.
Work orders & documentation
Review each work order before starting, log findings, steps and parts in AllData, and outline every billable task so estimates and invoices are right.
Communication
Keep service writers, the foreman and the parts team updated on progress, added work and delays.
Safety & workmanship
Daily JSA and vehicle inspection, PPE, lockout/tagout, a clean bay and a first-time-fix mindset.
What you bring
- Working knowledge of diesel systems, fluid service, air-brake fundamentals and basic electrical testing; comfortable with diagnostic software.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable MVR; able to pass drug screening and meet DOT requirements.
- Basic hand tools — specialty and diagnostic tools are provided.
- ASE certifications, CDL-A and OSHA 10/30 are a plus and factor into your offer and advancement.
- Reliable, punctual, clear communicator, willing to learn — you own your documentation and your safety record.
